Castor Oil

Castor oil is a vegetable oil obtained from the seeds of the castor bean plant (Ricinus communis). 

Castor oil has a thick, viscous, and sticky consistency due to its high concentration of ricinoleic acid. Its texture is comparable to that of syrup or honey. This thick consistency means it is slow to absorb, creates a protective barrier, and is sometimes mixed with lighter oils for easier application.
